Summer Vacation to Oregon

This Summer, my Mom, the boys and I headed to Oregon for our annual vacation.  We had so much fun!  We spent a lot of time on the beach which the boys just loved.  Their favorite thing to do was out run the waves.  While on the coast, we went to the Oregon Coat Aquarium and a cool playground, built by the towns people that sits right off Devil's Lake.  On our way to Portland, we stopped at an amusement park where the boys had fun riding rides.  In Portland we went to the Portland Zoo, which is like being in the middle of a forest...beautiful!  We also visited some different water fountains for the boys to play in.  We went to Multnomah Falls with my Mom's Aunt Jackie.  Check out the link to all the Oregon photos on the top, right of the page.  Enjoy!

Joe's First Day of Pre-Kindergarten

Joe started Pre-Kindergarten this past Monday.  I can't believe how big he is.  He seems to really like his two new teachers and says that he's made lots of friends...he just can't remember their names.

So earlier tonight Joe fell and hit his head on the coffee table.  He ended up getting 4 staples.  He was such a brave boy!  He'll get the staples out in a week.  At the appointment, we found out he weighs 55lbs.  Holy Cow!!

Fun with Cousins

This past week Josh's sister and her family came to visit from Kansas.  The boys had a great time with their cousins!
