Summer 2018 - Week 4

This week we celebrated Father's Day and went swimming with cousins & second cousins.  Boys also had their 2nd swim meet f the season.

Summer 2018 - Week 3

This week we invited all of the teachers who had taught Joe at Timberline for a "Thank You" BBQ.  It was a lot of fun!

We've had a great time going to a couple different Pumpkin Patches.  We went to one at Chatfield and another at Nick's Garden Center.

Pike's Peak and the Cog Railroad

Today, Grandma treated the Boys and I to a ride on the Cog Railroad which goes up Pike's Peak.  We couldn't go all the way to the top because of the weather, but it was really fun.  Did you know "America the Beautiful" was written by a teacher who wrote a poem when observing from Pike's Peak . . . fun fact!

Sledding

We were able to go sledding at a local school while there was still snow on the ground.  It was actually the first time the boys have been.  I think they really had a lot of fun . . . even Josh went for a couple runs down the hill.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Since Josh, the boys and I were all off the day after Thanksgiving, we decided to take a family trip up to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  I think the boys really enjoyed all the animal...especially feeding the giraffes!
