T-Ball and Swimming

Joe started T-Ball practice this week.  He was so excited and joined right in.  I think Jack was a little upset that he isn't big enough to play on the team.  When Joe was done with his first practice, Jack ran over to him and hugged and kissed him.  It was so cute!

Joe and 5 of his Teammates

Joe and Jack started up swimming lessons again.  This time they get to take them at Uncle Jard and Aunt Jay's new swim school . . .Dolphinz!
Joe is loving it.  He is constantly sticking his head in/under the water and even floated on his back for a few seconds all by himself.

Jack is more interested in the toys than the lessons right now, but his teacher is great with him and I think he is warming up to the idea of learning to swim.

Joe's Field Trip to Baskin Robbins

Joe's Preschool took a field trip to Baskin Robbins to see how ice cream was made.  Grammy, Jack and Mama got to go with!
Learning about the history of Baskin Robbins.

The best part . . . eating ice cream!

Joe's 100th Day of School

Friday is Joe's 100th Day of School.  He was asked to make a project with 100 "small" items.  We decided to make a necklace with 100 beads (10 of 10 different colors).  Joe strung all the beads by himself!

Jack wanted to help too!

Oh, Dear Joe

Tonight I was feeling pretty sad about selling the crib that both Joe and Jack spent the first three years of their lives in.  It made me realize that no more babies will come and some day the boys won't need me like they do now.  Josh reminded me the boys will always need me, just in different ways at different ages.  Then, as if Joe knew I needed cheering up said, "Mama, when I grow up, I'm gonna fall in love with you."  How lucky am I!

The Stock Show

We went to the Stock Show this past Sunday.  The animals, of course, were the highlight for the boys!
