Fun Run, Fall Festival and Monster Ball

What a Busy Day!  A couple Saturdays ago, Joe ran two miles with Papa in a Fun Run at his school, Jack had a Fall Festival at his school and then it was back to Joe's school for a Halloween event.

We've had a great time going to a couple different Pumpkin Patches.  We went to one at Chatfield and another at Nick's Garden Center.

Joe's ABC Fundraiser

Joe sold enough items for his ABC Fundraiser that he got to dunk and duct tape the principal!  Mr. Wynne is a good sport.

Celebrating Our Ninth Anniversary

For our 9th Anniversary (and 16 years together), Josh planned a night out where we traveled to a different restaurant for each tier of a meal.
We started with drinks at The Cruise Room (in The Oxford Hotel).  Josh had a Macallan 18 and I had a Mojito.

We had and appetizer of Prosciutto Flatbread at the Wazee Supper Club and Josh had a Titan IPA.
We went to Colton Gray for dinner.  We started with their "pick three appetizer" and chose Aged Cheddar, Coppa and Rillettes.  Then Josh had two pieces of Roasted Grass Fed Marrow Bones and I had a Mushroom Walnut Bisque for our "small plate".  For an entree, I had Spiced Honey Glazed Duck Breast and Josh had Colorado Lamb.
And for dessert, we shared a snicker doodle, a macaroon and "their molten cake thingy everybody has".  Yes, we ate way too much, but it was worth it.  What a wonderful and memorable evening!
